WW2 Imperial Japanese Army – OFFICER TROPICAL PITH HELMET – NICE!

You are bidding on a VERY NICE example of a WW2 Imperial Japanese Army Officer’s Tropical Pith Helmet! Brought back by a US Serviceman, however I do not have any further history.

Made of canvas and cork by Hare, this Officer’s Tropical Pith Helmet is in NICE used condition! Veteran acquired, the top features an alloy knob with ventilation holes. as well as an Army Star secured to the front. Interior features a leather sweatband, with size stamp. Some wear, marks, stains, and tears due to the age, but nothing that detracts. Still retains most of its original shape and structure, however, there are areas where it is soft/crushed. An EXCELLENT item for display, it would make a PERFECT addition to any collection!
