WW2 Imperial Japanese Army – 6×24 FIELD BINOCULARS & CASE – TOKO – VERY NICE!

You are bidding on an EXCELLENT set of WW2 Imperial Japanese Army 6×24 Field Binoculars and Case! This style was specifically used by Army personnel for observation, recognition, and reconnaissance purposes!

These binoculars were carried by most member of the military, and featured uncoated lenses (as with most Japanese binoculars).

Made of aluminum, brass, and steel by Toko, these 6×24 power binoculars are in VERY NICE used condition! The lens bodies retain about 95% of their original black finish, as well as the end piece fittings. Eye sockets are present, and the focus adjustment still functions on both eye pieces!

Both optics are AMAZINGLY clear, with no spotting, however, the view is out of alignment (you see a ghosted image when looking through), so they will need to be serviced to be correct. The left side body is well marked with the impressed, “Toko” logo and the serial number 5534; and the right side is marked, 6x 9.3. Some very slight wear due to the age, but otherwise SUPERB! Case is original to this set, and features some marks and wear. Would make a SUPERB addition to any Japanese or optics collection!
