Military belts and buckles date back hundreds of years, and were originally designed for attaching swords and daggers. Fist introduced in 1935, the Luftwaffe Belt and Buckle underwent minor modifications. In 1937, it received a new pattern eagle and then again in 1940 with a slight difference of construction.

Made of a stamped aluminum construction, this 1940 pattern buckle is in SUPERB used condition, and it retains 95% of it’s original finish!  It has the full Polizei Emblem surrounded by pebbles.  There is some slight dirt and very minor traces of wear, but it could easily be cleaned up if needed.  The leather belt is actually an EARLY model, having been made in 1936.  It remains in used condition, and features the manufacture stamp.  Size appears to be 100.  It was brought back by a US veteran in this exact condition  Would make a SUPERB addition to any collection or display!
