Description
The sPzB 41 was used by some motorized divisions and by some Jäger (light infantry), Gebirgsjäger (mountain) and Fallschirmjäger (paratrooper) units. Some guns were supplied to anti-tank and sapper units.[4] The weapon was employed on the Eastern Front from the beginning of hostilities (the Wehrmacht possessed 183 pieces on 1 June 1941), until the end of the war and also saw combat in the Italian campaign, the North African Campaign and on the Western Front in 1944–45.
Made of steel, this anti-tank rifle scope storage case was manufactured between 1943 and 1945. Thought it has some slight marks and wear from storage, it is 100% complete, with NO damage! Features all the original LATE-WAR Dunkelgelb paint on the interior, however the exterior appears to have a green over-paint (the dunkelgelb can be seen underneath). Features the remains of a label internally, which most likely denoted the serial number of the cannon, and the scope that was stored inside. I have shown its location in the last photo. Would make a PERFECT addition to any collection or display!
