This instrument was stored in the Gunner’s Kit, and indicated the barrel temperature to the gunner.
Made of aluminum and steel, with a protective leather covering, this instrument is in SUPERB used condition! Some slight marks and scratches due to the age, however 95% of the original finish remains! 100% FUNCTIONAL, though I am not sure how accurate. Comes complete in the original wood box, that features a German WaA inspection stamp inside the lid. Though it is 100% German-made, there is a Finnish SA stamp on the outside, as it would have also been used by their military during the war. I have shown it in use in the last photo, as well as an image of one that was stored inside a 7,5cm KwK Gunner Kit. Would make for a PERFECT addition to any display, collection, or restoration project!
