WW2 German Wehrmacht Sfl.Z.F. 1a Gun Scope – StuG Hetzer Brummbär – NICE!

Out of stock

You are bidding on a SUPERB example of WW2 German Selbstfahrlafetten-Zielfernrohr Sfl.Z.F. 1a 5×8 Gun Scope, as used on various Assault Guns and Tank Destroyers!  This SPECIFIC type was used on the JagdPzr. 38t “Hetzer”, Sturmgeschütz StuG III/IV, and Sturmpanzer 43 “Brummbär”!

Having a magnification of 5×8°, this was the gunners main aiming scope.  it was used in conjunction with the 7.5mm Pak 39 L/48, 7.5cm StuK 40 L/48, 15cm StuH 43 L/12 cannons!

Made of aluminum and steel, this anti-tank aiming scope was manufactured between 1943 and 1945.  It retains 95% of its original Dunkelgelb paint and finish with NO corrosion or major damage!  The manufacture code and data information is stamped into the side, indicating:

Sfl.Z.F. 1a *

 CCX   +    23923

All optics are EXCELLENT, crystal clear, and show NO signs of haziness!  There are some minor black spots, but those could be rectified if one wished (see last photo).  I have shown it’s location in the last photos, as well as wartime image of the same reticle (Russian Front).  A VERY NICE scope that would make a PERFECT addition to any collection or display!

Please email me if you need additional photos or information.

——————- ABOUT ME —————–

Although my passion is the Me109, I do offer many other German Aircraft (Fw190, Me262, etc.), as well as USAF and Japanese items. Occasionally I do offer many non-vintage items such as prints and art relating to the time period. As a private collector myself, I am constantly on the lookout for historical memorabilia, authentic photographs, artwork or anything unique relating to military aircraft.
