Description

You are bidding on a VERY RARE and 100% ORIGINAL 1941 edition of “Manner und Waffen der Deutsche Heeres” (People and Equipment of the Germany Army), with artwork by acclaimed artist, Josef Urens!  This original publication features 40 FANTASTIC drawings/sketches, as well as descriptive text.

This EXTREMELY RARE art series is in SUPERB used condition!  Though there is some wear, marks, and tears to the cloth bound and paper folder, there are NO rips or tears on the art pages!  45 pages of text are also included, as well as a contents list, describing each individual lithograph.  Similar to the Hans Liska book series, the focus in this collection is on the men and machines of the Army!  All depictions appear to be from both Western and Eastern Front.  One of the NICEST sketch series printed, many of these larger prints were later made into smaller postcard.  Would make a VERY RARE addition to any collection or display!

——————- TERMS OF SALE —————–

Most of my items are vintage, and as such are AS-IS, so you must therefore expect a degree of wear due to age and/or usage. I will describe each auction to the best of my knowledge and take as many photos necessary to ensure you are pleased upon receiving your item. All sales are final, so please make sure your questions are answered to your satisfaction before you purchase.

——————- ABOUT ME —————–

Although my passion is the Me109, I do offer many other German Aircraft (Fw190, Me262, etc.), as well as USAF and Japanese items. Occasionally I do offer many non-vintage items such as prints and art relating to the time period. As a private collector myself, I am constantly on the lookout for historical memorabilia, authentic photographs, artwork or anything unique relating to military aircraft.
