Description
The fat container (usually carrying animal fats, lard, butter, margarine, etc.) was issued to all personnel as part of their basic personal equipment and was normally carried in the bread bag.
Made of a RARE white marble bakelite, this Fat Container was manufactured between 1939 and 1945, and is in SUPERB condition! There is some slight wear and minor chips, but it is very solid otherwise! EASILY identifiable due to the markings, shape, size, and structure! Appears the manufacture code was purposefully removed on the bottom (typical for later in the war). Would make a SUPERB addition to any collection or display!
