Description

You are bidding on a SUPERB example of a BRAND NEW and 100% REPRODUCTION WW2 German Wehrmacht K98 Schiessbecher Gewehrgranatgerät Rifle Grenade Launcher! This is a completely NON-FUNCTIONAL reproduction intended strictly for display, reenactment, film, theatrical, or prop use!
The original WW2 German Wehrmacht Schießbecher Gewehrgranatengerät was introduced during WWII as a rifle-mounted grenade-launching device for use with standard German service rifles such as the Karabiner 98k. Often referred to by collectors as the Schiessbecher, or “shooting cup,” it allowed German infantrymen to employ several types of rifle grenades for anti-personnel and anti-armor roles. Original examples were issued in substantial numbers during the war and today are popular accessories for German infantry displays, although surviving wartime examples have become increasingly collectible.
Made of machined steel with a blued/black finish, this 1:1: acle REPRODUCTION is in NEW and UNUSED condition. Manufactured to closely duplicate the appearance and construction of an original wartime Gewehrgranatgerät, with multiple-piece construction, removable threaded cup, and complete locking and clamping mechanism. All threads, screws, springs, pins, and adjustment components are present and fully functional for display purposes. It also carries reproduction wartime-style markings, including simulated Waffenamt/eagle inspection stamps, maker markings, and the standard reproduction abbreviations. The principal identifying difference from an original is the completely smooth, non-rifled interior of the launcher cup. The cup remains open, but the unit is permanently inert and cannot be used to fire ammunition or grenades. It will mount correctly onto a compatible rifle for display and appears unused apart from possibly a few extremely minor storage or handling marks. No wrench, pouch, or other accessories are included with this example, although a pouch is available separately in another listing. An EXCELLENT high-quality reproduction, PERFECT for any WW2 German infantry display, reenactment setup, film prop, or replica equipment collection!
