WW2 German Wehrmacht K98 Patronenkasten 41 – INTERESTING MARKINGS – VERY NICE!

1 in stock

You are bidding on a SUPERB example of a 100% original WW2 German Wehrmacht 7.92mm K98 Ammunition Storage Box!  This box was carried by various personnel, as well as inside tanks and armoured vehicles, to store ammunition for the roof mounted or coaxial equipment.  This is the later Patronenkasten 41.  Brought back by a US veteran, it still retains the ORIGINAL markings!

Used to transport 7.92mm ammunition belts and other equipment, this box is in VERY NICE used condition!  There are some marks, wear, and scratches, however it is still VERY SOLID!  It retains some traces f its original camouflage paint, but does feature some very slight corrosion (no pitting or holes).  The AMAZING feature, is that is still retains the hand-painting markings on the side!  Small markers stamp on the top and date of 1944.  Some of the rubber gasket is missing from the lid.  Hinge and latches function 100% correctly!  Would be a PERFECT addition to any collection, display, or restoration project!

——————- TERMS OF SALE —————–

Most of my items are vintage, and as such are AS-IS, so you must therefore expect a degree of wear due to age and/or usage. I will describe each auction to the best of my knowledge and take as many photos necessary to ensure you are pleased upon receiving your item. All sales are final, so please make sure your questions are answered to your satisfaction before you purchase.

——————- ABOUT ME —————–

Although my passion is the Me109, I do offer many other German Aircraft (Fw190, Me262, etc.), as well as USAF and Japanese items. Occasionally I do offer many non-vintage items such as prints and art relating to the time period. As a private collector myself, I am constantly on the lookout for historical memorabilia, authentic photographs, artwork or anything unique relating to military aircraft.
