You are bidding on an EXCELLENT used example of a WW2 German Wehrmacht Heer Offizierdolch Army Officer Dress Dagger and Scabbard! This was brought back by a US Serviceman.
Made of steel, this Army Officer Dress Dagger & Scabbard Dagger Scabbard is in VERY NICE used condition! The blade is in overall very good condition, with no damage to the edges, and the tip is perfect. The reverse of the blade is etched with the manufacturer logo of the manufacture, “P. D. Lüneschloss, Solingen” Some marks, wear, and patina throughout, due to the age. The cross guard features an embossed National Eagle, clutching a wreathed swastika in its talons. The celluloid grip/handle is a light tan in color, along with the correct angled ribbing. Scabbard features a pebbled pattern to both sides, with hanger suspension rings. Would make a SUPERB addition to any collection or display!
