Made by WLC, this Wehrmacht Officer sword is in VERY NICE used condition! Approx. 85cm long, it features an un-sharpened nickel/silver plated blade. Some slight marks and wear due to the age, but nothing that detracts. The reverse of the blade clearly features the WKC logo. Fire-guilted tomac, it features a knuckle bow, back-strap, and a lion’s head pommel with a gilt finish. Reverse has a large National Eagle with outstretched wings. Cross guard has a raised lip to top and bottom edges with small impressed ornamentation and embossed oak-leaf pattern to top. Grip is made of bakelite, with an inset twisted wire silver wrap. Sadly the wrap has come loose. Comes complete with its original black metal scabbard. Scabbard retains approx. 90% original black paint, with a rectangular suspension bar to the reverse and a suspension ring. Comes complete with the original shoulder hanger.
