You are bidding on a GOOD example of a 100% ORIGINAL WW2 German Wehrmacht / Heer Aluminum EM/NCO Belt Buckle!
Military belts and buckles date back hundreds of years, and were originally designed for attaching swords and daggers.
Made of a 2-piece stamped aluminum construction, this 1940 pattern buckle is in used condition. Though it retains much of its original finish, it has been repaired at one point of time (appears the shield/emblem broke off, and someone has glued it back in place). Also, the catch has broken off. There is some slight dirt and very minor traces of wear, but it could easily be cleaned up if needed. Just for parts or repair, it would make a SUPERB addition to any collection or display!
