WW2 German Wehrmacht – 8×56 HENSOLDT WETZLAR MONOCULAR / SIGHTING SCOPE – RARE!

 The German Army and Navy used a wide variety of optical equipment, including a 6×30 (6 power magnification with 30mm objective lens), 7×50, 8×30, 10×50 and others, being the standard issued optics used by all branches of service.  Though this type was the standard, specialized personnel required stinger optics, and were issues to personnel on a limited basis.

 Made by Hensolt Wetzlar of a large tooled alloy and aluminum construction, this 8 x 56 power monocular is in EXCELLENT used condition! The lens body retains about 98% of their original, rough textured, black finish, and the focus adjustment still functions perfectly! The optics are still AMAZINGLY clear! Though the paint is a bit chipped, the right side is marked “Dialyt 8×56“, along with the manufacture logo for “Hendsoldt Wetzlar“, and serial number. The eye cup is a replacement, as the original was cracked/broken. A PERFECT addition to any collection or display!
