WW2 German Wehrmacht 7.92mm KURZ PATRONE AMMUNITION – MP44 StG44 – VERY NICE!

Out of stock

You are bidding on a FANTASTIC and 100% ORIGINAL box of WW2 German Wehrmacht 7.92 x 33mm Kurzr Ammunition!  Containing a total of 15 rounds, these were designed for the Mp44 and StG44 Machine Guns!

The 7.92×33mm Kurz (designated as the 7.92 x 33 kurz by the C.I.P.) is a rimless bottlenecked intermediate rifle cartridge developed in Nazi Germany prior to and during World War II, specifically intended for development of the Sturmgewehr 44 (assault rifle). The ammunition is also referred to as 7.9mm Kurz (German: Kurz meaning “short”), 7.9 Kurz, 7.9mmK, or 8×33 Polte. The round was developed as a compromise between the longer 7.92×57mm full-power rifle cartridge and the 9×19mm Parabellum pistol cartridge, and is the first mass-used intermediate cartridge (German: Mittelpatrone) in the world.

Made of brass and steel, this box of WW2 German 7.92mm Mp44 ammunition is in SUPERB unused condition!  You are bidding on complete set (15 rounds total), of un-fired rounds, that come complete in their original labelled cardboard box!  This is an ORGINAL box of German wartime produced ammunition, with a date of 1944 stamped into the carboard.  Also features a hand-written 3/45 date marking.  The rounds themselves are all 1945 dated.  The original German label was removed post-war, and replaced with a Czech label, indicating date, model, and manufacture information.  Some slight wear, marks, staining, and corrosion due to the age, but nothing that detracts.  An EXCELLENT item for any collection or display!
