You are bidding on a VERY NICE set of WW2 German Wehrmacht 6×30 Binoculars! These were brought back by US veteran at the end of the war.
The German Army and Navy used a wide variety of optical equipment, including a 6×30 (6 power magnification with 30mm objective lens), 7×50, 8×30, 10×50 and others, being the standard issued optics used by all branches of service. Though this type was the standard, specialized personnel required stinger optics, and were issues to personnel on a limited basis.
Made of aluminum and steel by Voigtlander u. Sohn AG, these 6 x 30 power binoculars are in VERY GOOD used condition! The lens bodies retain about 90% of their original, finish, and the end piece fittings are 100% intact! The focus adjustment still functions, and the optics are 100% in alignment! No dust or debris internally, and the right lens features a ranging scale. They are marked:
