Description
You are bidding on a VERY NICE set of WW2 German Wehrmacht 6×30 Binoculars! These were brought back by US veteran at the end of the war.
The German Army and Navy used a wide variety of optical equipment, including a 6×30 (6 power magnification with 30mm objective lens), 7×50, 8×30, 10×50 and others, being the standard issued optics used by all branches of service. Though this type was the standard, specialized personnel required stinger optics, and were issues to personnel on a limited basis.
Made of aluminum and steel by Emil Busch, these 6 x 30 power binoculars are in GOOD used condition! The lens bodies retain about 95% of their original, finish, and the end piece fittings are 100% intact! The focus adjustment still functions but is a bit loose on the left side. Optical alignment is EXCELLENT, but the lenses are a bit foggy (should be an easy clean). Right lens features a ranging scale. They are marked:
