You are bidding on an EXCELLENT and VERY RARE example of a WW2 German Wehrmacht MG MachinenGewehr Presentation Award Plaque! These were usually awarded for bravery or other special accomplishments/duties during the war.
Made of wood and steel, this plaque is in SUPERB condition for it’s age! It features a prominent 2- dimensional image of an 3.7cm PaK Gun crew, while in the firing position. Most likely awarded for a shooting competition, below the metal relief, it is small plate that features the following information:

There is some slight wear due to the age, but nothing that take away from the overall appearance. Measuring an approx. overall size of 6.5″ x 8.5″, it would be a PERFECT addition to any collection or display.
