You are bidding on a VERY NICE and 100% ORIGINAL WW2 German Heer (Army) EM/NCO Belt Buckle and Tab!
Military belts and buckles date back hundreds of years, and were originally designed for attaching swords and daggers. Fist introduced in 1935, the Luftwaffe Belt and Buckle underwent minor modifications. In 1937, it received a new pattern eagle and then again in 1940 with a slight difference of construction.
Made of a stamped aluminum, this 1940 pattern buckle is in SUPERB used condition, and it retains traces of its original finish! It has a full Army National Eagle, and the stamping is quite deep. There is some slight dirt and very minor traces of wear, but it could easily be cleaned up if needed. Features a manufacture stamp on the back side. The leather tab iss till quite nice, however the manufacture stamp is faded (appears to be a 1941 date). Brought back by a US Veteran, it is VERY RARE in this condition, it would make a SUPERB addition to any collection or display!
