WW2 German Schlenker-Grusen Blindfluguhr – RADIO NAV CLOCK – FOR REPAIR – Ju88

Out of stock

You are bidding on a NICE example of a WW2 German Luftwaffe Schlenker-Grusen Model 1943 WW2 German Luftwaffe Blinduhr (Blind Flying Clock), Fl. 23888, as used in various bombers and destroyers, such s the Ju88, He111, He177, Me110, and others!

Usually mounted at the Navigator’s position, this clock needs no introduction.  It was made famous throughout the war as the standard Blind Flying Navigation clock for most bombers.

Made of aluminum with a bakelite bezel, this clock is a GOOD example.  There is minimal scratching on the glass, and in overall VERY NICE condition.  There is some scratching around the edges and signs of wear/use, but it still has MUCH of the original paint!  Data plate still remains on the reverse, clearly indicating model, type, and manufacture.  Sadly, this is not functional (broken balance staff), so it is really only good for parts/repair.  I have shown its location in the last photo.  Would make a FANTASTIC addition to any Luftwaffe collection, panel re-build, or restoration project!

Please email me if you need additional photos or information.

——————- TERMS OF SALE —————–

Most of my items are vintage, and as such are AS-IS, so you must therefore expect a degree of wear due to age and/or usage. All sales are final, so please make sure your questions are answered to your satisfaction before you purchase.

——————- ABOUT ME —————–

Although my passion is the Me109, I do offer many other German Aircraft (Fw190, Me262, etc.), as well as USAF and Japanese items. Occasionally I do offer many non-vintage items such as prints and art relating to the time period. As a private collector myself, I am constantly on the lookout for historical memorabilia, authentic photographs, artwork or anything unique relating to military aircraft.
