You are bidding on an EXCELLENT and 100% ORIGINAL WW2 German Luftwaffe Framed Photograph of Me109 V-14 E-3a W.Nr.1797, presented to Luftkommando VII! 


Made of wood, glass and paper, this presentation piece is in SUPERB condition for it’s age!  It features a prominent 100% original photograph of a DB601 powered Me109 E3a!  Everything here is ORIGINAL to the photo, including the frame, matting, glass and backing.  Though there are some tears on the backing, it has never been taken apart and remains in original condition!  It features a label indicating:

  Presented by the Kommandantur (Base Commander) of Fliegerhorst Nellingen, it also features his signature, as well as a secondary signature and an official stamp.  Also features are two additional Nellingen stamps on the backing.


There is some slight wear due to the age, but nothing that take away from the overall appearance.  No breaks or damage!  The original photo measures approx. 11″ x 12″ in size, and the frame a LARGE 19″ x 24″!  There is a hand-written title on the lower right corner of the matt, indicating, “Messerschmitt Me109”.

 D – IRTT is clearly legible on the bottom of the wings, confirming the photo is of Me109 V-14 E-3a W.Nr.1797.  This aircraft first flew in 1938, with Fritz Wendel at the control!

   100% original, it would be a PERFECT addition to any collection or display.
