Description

You are bidding on a SUPERB used example of a WW2 German Luftwaffe 40V/100A Außenbord-Steckdose (External Electrical Plug), Fl. 18336, used in many fighter aircraft!  Similar types were used in the Me109, Fw190, and Me-262!

This 2-pol Main Instrument Plug was used throughout the war.  It allowed the ground crew to charge the main batteries of the aircraft and was located on the side of the fuselage just behind the cockpit.  Aircraft examples which had similar plugs were the Me-109, Fw-190, Me262, Do-335, He-162, Me-163, and Ju-87.

Made of aluminum and steel, this plug is in EXCELLENT unused condition!  99% of the original finish remains, and the Fl. label is 100% intact, clearly indicating Fl. 18336.  Though it does feature some slight marks and scratches, there is NO damage or corrosion!  THough I am not 100% sure which aircraft was equipped wtih this type, I have indicated a similar one in the last photo.  An EXCELLENT addition for any collection, display,  or restoration project!

——————- TERMS OF SALE —————–

Most of my items are vintage, and as such are AS-IS, so you must therefore expect a degree of wear due to age and/or usage. I will describe each auction to the best of my knowledge and take as many photos necessary to ensure you are pleased upon receiving your item. All sales are final, so please make sure your questions are answered to your satisfaction before you purchase.

——————- ABOUT ME —————–

Although my passion is the Me109, I do offer many other German Aircraft (Fw190, Me262, etc.), as well as USAF and Japanese items. Occasionally I do offer many non-vintage items such as prints and art relating to the time period. As a private collector myself, I am constantly on the lookout for historical memorabilia, authentic photographs, artwork or anything unique relating to military aircraft.
