WW2 German Luftwaffe Zwischenwelle – THROTTLE CONTROL ROD – Me109 Ju87 – RARE!

The Zwischenwelle formed part of the Triebwerksbedienungsgestänge, or engine-control linkage system, transferring movement from the cockpit throttle controls through the fuselage to the engine controls. The basic assembly remained similar across several Me109 variants, although the complete assembly numbers changed during production, including 109.769-05 on the Me109 F, 209.700-015 on the Me109 G, and 109.672-009 on the Me109 K. Similar throttle intermediate-shaft assemblies were also employed on other Luftwaffe aircraft, including the Ju87 Stuka.

Made of aluminum and steel, this Throttle Control Linkage is in EXCELLENT New Old Stock condition! Some normal age, wear and surface oxidation as shown, but nothing that detracts. The shaft, mounting brackets and associated linkage components remain together as an unusually complete assembly. Because the complete assembly part number varied according to aircraft model and no definitive variant marking has been identified on this example, it is being offered simply as an original Luftwaffe throttle intermediate-shaft assembly of the type used on the Me109 series. I have shown its location in the last images. A VERY RARE and difficult-to-find original control-system component that would make a FANTASTIC addition to any Me109 restoration, cockpit display or advanced Luftwaffe aviation collection!
