Made of steel, this item is in VERY NICE used condition! Brought back by a US veteran, all the markings are 100% WAR-TIME (not post-war)…however as it was stored in a barn, it does feature some corrosion and rust. I have only oiled it, so it could use some further cleaning. I have not taken a photos of the rifling, as there is dirt internally (expect the inside to be better than the outside, however). Retains the original markings and finish! This was found inside the original Barrel Carrier, which I have listed on my other site. Should clean up quite well! Would make an EXCELLENT addition to any collection or display!
