Description

You are bidding on a 100% ORIGINAL WW2 German Lufwtaffe UV Leuchte (UV Cockpit Light) set, Fl. 32266, as used in the Me109, Fw190, Me110, Me262, and others!

When the pilot turned the  UV lights turned on at night, they directed UV light towards the cockpit instruments.  This caused a reaction within the Dials and as a result, the dials and gauges glowed.  It was used in the Me109, Fw190, Me262, and other fighters and destroyers.

Made of aluminum and steel by Siemens, this item dates mid-war around 1943-1944.  Much of the original finish remains, however there is some slight wear and marks due to the age.  The Fl. number can be seen on the side, indicating, Fl. 32266, and it comes COMPLETE with the original cap (Fl. 32253-3), and the internal filter!  I have indicated a simialr type located in the Me109 Cockpit in the last photo.  A VERY RARE item, EXCELLENT for any collection or display!

All sales are final, so please make sure your questions are answered to your satisfaction before you purchase.

——————- ABOUT ME —————–

Although my passion is the Me109, I do offer many other German Aircraft (Fw190, Me262, etc.), as well as USAF and Japanese items. Occasionally I do offer many non-vintage items such as prints and art relating to the time period. As a private collector myself, I am constantly on the lookout for historical memorabilia, authentic photographs, artwork or anything unique relating to military aircraft.
