Description
You are bidding on a SUPERB and VERY RARE WW2 German Luftwaffe Document Grouping! These belonged to Unteroffizier Walter Kehling, who flew with 12./JG27 during the late stages of the war!
This grouping is a VERY NICE Set! Though I do not have much information on Kehling, he served with the German Luftwaffe from April 1943, until May 1945. Set includes his Wehrpass, with original photo, and noted awards (WW1 Wound badge in Black, 1, 1914 Iron Cross 2nd Class, Austria-Hungary 1914-1918 PRO DEO ET PATRIA medal ,and Honor Cross of WWI. Also notes his campaigns from October 19, 1944 until May 3, 1945, where he was involved in the “Defense of the Reich” in the last months of the war. 4 other wartime (WW1 and WW2) documents are included, as well as many post-war documents while being a POW, and a medical certificate, indicating he suffered a skull fracture (presumably from being shot down at wars end). Due to the age, there is some slight age, wear, toning and patina to all items…but nothing that detracts. A FANTASTIC addition to any collection or display! Please email me if you need additional photos or information. |
