Description
The Me109 utilized a system of pushrods, levers, bearings, and intermediate pivots to transmit movement from the pilot’s control column through the wing to the Querruder, or aileron. The original Messerschmitt Ersatzteil-Liste identifies this complete assembly as “Stützhebel im Flügel vollständig”, part number 109.412-04, incorporating individual components numbered 9 through 17 in the parts diagram. Positioned within the wing control system, the Stützhebel supported and provided the pivoting attachment for the primary control arm, allowing the aileron linkage to change direction and transmit control movement smoothly toward the aileron.
Made of aluminum and steel, , this original Me109 Stützhebel assembly is in EXCEPTIONAL NEW OLD STOCK condition! The assembly is completely unused and retains its original wartime finish with NO dents, cracks, bends, repairs, corrosion damage, or service wear. The original lever, bearing/pivot assembly, Zwischenstück, fasteners, and associated hardware remain present as shown, corresponding to the complete assembly identified in the Messerschmitt parts manual as 109.412-04. The bearing and pivot components remain in excellent unused condition, and the assembly shows only minimal storage marks consistent with decades of preservation. Everything present is 100% ORIGINAL wartime German manufacture. I have shown its location in the last photos. An EXTREMELY RARE unused Me109 flight-control component and an outstanding piece for any advanced Luftwaffe, Messerschmitt, aircraft restoration, or flight-control collection!
