Description

You are bidding on a SUPERB example of a WW2 German Wehrmacht Ceramic Award Tankard! As this was a presentation piece it features the initials of the awardee, as well as a small inscription.
Made of ceramic, this presentation stein is one of a kind item! Presented in 1936, it does have some marks, scratches, and wear due to the age, but otherwise quite solid. Featuring various panels depicting an Nebelwerfer Crew in action; a side profile of a Solider; and an MG08 Machine Gun with its Crew. The pewter lid attached features the initials of the owner, and an inscription. It indicates:

The main title on the mug indicates:

ZUR ERINNERUNG AN MEINE DIENSTZEIT
(In Commemoration of My Service)
