You are bidding on a VERY RARE example of a WW2 German Luftwaffe Pilot / Fallschimjaeger Parachute Harness Strap! Though I believe this was removed from an RH 12B Parachute, this type of material was also used on the RZ20, RZ36, and others!
Made of a heavy cloth/cotton material, and steel, this harness strap is in EXCELLENT barn find condition! Though it does feature some wear and stains, it is still VERY solid! VERY hard to find by itself, it would be PERFECT for those collectors restoring an RH-12B parachute or similar! Clearly marked, “Gurtzeug 10-9.08″ A SUPERB addition to any collection or display.
