WW2 German Luftwaffe Offizierdolch – OFFICER DRESS DAGGER / SCABBARD / HANGER – “E u. F Horster” – 1st MODEL – VERY NICE!

You are bidding on an EXCELLENT used example of a FIRST MODEL WW2 German Luftwaffe Offizierdolch Officer Dress Dagger and Scabbard!  This was brought back by a US Serviceman.

Made of steel, this Air Force Officer Dress Dagger is in VERY NICE used condition! The blade is in overall very good condition, with no damage to the edges, and the tip is perfect. The reverse of the blade is etched with the manufacturer logo of the manufacture, “E. u. F. Horster, Solingen”  Some marks, wear, and patina throughout, due to the age.  The cross guard features a sunwheel style Swastika on each side. The handle is wrapped in blue Moroccan leather, along with the correct angled ribbing. Scabbard is also wrapped in Moroccan Leather with Nickle/Silver plated alloy fittings and hanger suspension rings. Some marks and wear throughout, due to the age. The Hanger is original to this dagger, but it is quite short. It is marked “A” for Assmann, as well as DRGM. Would make a SUPERB addition to any collection or display!
