Description
The Officer’s circular belt buckle was introduced on July 9, 1937, along with the brocade belt for wear by army Officers (Lieutenant and up) when in parade dress, formal dress, informal reporting dress and service dress when full decorations were ordered. Silver was issued to ranks from Leutnant to Oberst…while ranks of Generalmajor up were in gold. Made of aluminum and cloth web, this 1940 pattern Officer Brocade Belt is in EXCELLENT NOS condition, and it retains MUCH of its original finish! Some slight marks and wear due to the age, but nothing that detracts. Clearly stamped with the manufacture marking, it also is marked as a 115cm length. Would make a SUPERB addition to any collection or display! |
