Description

You are bidding on a 100% original WW2 German Luftwaffe autographed postcard photo Gordon Gollob.  Unlike most of the autographs you see, this is a WARTIME signed photo.

Oberst Gordon Max Gollob (16 June 1912 – 8 September 1987) was an Austrian-born German fighter pilot and flying ace in the Luftwaffe from 1938 to 1945.  He rose to the position of General der Jagdflieger, and was one of only 27 to receive the Knight’s Cross of the Iron Cross with Oak Leaves, Swords and Diamonds.  He is credited with 150 aerial victories (flying the Me109 and Fw190) in 340 missions while serving with ZG 76, JG 3, JG 54, and JG 77. A tough signature to locate, he has signed an original postcard photo while stationed in France.  100% ORIGINAL, it would make for an EXCELLENT display!

All sales are final, so please make sure your questions are answered to your satisfaction before you purchase.

——————- ABOUT ME —————–

Although my passion is the Me109, I do offer many other German Aircraft (Fw190, Me262, etc.), as well as USAF and Japanese items. Occasionally I do offer many non-vintage items such as prints and art relating to the time period. As a private collector myself, I am constantly on the lookout for historical memorabilia, authentic photographs, artwork or anything unique relating to military aircraft.
