Description

You are bidding on a 100% original WW2 German Luftwaffe autographed postcard photo of Hannes Trautloft!  Unlike most of the autographs you see, this is a WARTIME signed photo.

 Oberleutnant Johannes
“Hannes” Trautloft (3 March 1912 – 11 January 1995) was a German
World War II fighter pilot and recipient of the Knight’s Cross of the Iron
Cross during World War II.
  He served in
the Luftwaffe from 1932 until the end of the war and again from 1957-1970. He
flew 560 combat sorties and was credited with 58 victories while serving with
JG77, JG51, and JG54. He was regarded as a very competent leader, and much
respected from those serving beneath him. He also was known as the father of JG
54.
A VERY tough signature to locate, he
has signed in ink on a photo postcard.  A VERY NICE addition to any collection or display!

——————- ABOUT ME —————–

Although my passion is the Me109, I do offer many other German Aircraft (Fw190, Me262, etc.), as well as USAF and Japanese items. Occasionally I do offer many non-vintage items such as prints and art relating to the time period. As a private collector myself, I am constantly on the lookout for historical memorabilia, authentic photographs, artwork or anything unique relating to military aircraft.
