You are bidding on a 100% original WW2 German Luftwaffe autographed photo of Oberfeldwebel Erich Morgenstern!
Trained as a Stuka
-Bordfunker, Morgenstern arrived at the beginning of the Polish campaign to I.
Group / Falling Squadron 1 and was assigned to the pilot Lieutenant Martin
Möbus , whose constant companion he was until his death on 2 June 1944.
Since the spring
of 1942 he was on the Eastern Front with St.G. 2
“Immelmann”, together with Möbus. In July 1943 he was
transferred to the far north of Finland on
the Arctic front . He received the Knight’s Cross after 675 enemy flights. His
pilot Möbus was missing at the award ceremony in June 1944, as he had died
He flew with Möbus in successful operations against the English fleet in Norway at the Battle of
Narvik , in the Mediterranean at the company “Mercury”, and against the
Royal Air Force in Malta and North Africa in the African campaign.
Morgenstern (1919-2013) was a German Luftwaffe member. He is a Knights Cross recipient and has signed on a reproduction photo. A tough signature to locate, it would make for an EXCELLENT display!

——————- ABOUT ME —————–
Although my passion is the Me109, I do offer many other German Aircraft (Fw190, Me262, etc.), as well as USAF and Japanese items.
