You are bidding on a FANTASTIC relic example of a WW2 German Luftwaffe MG17 Führungsrohr Guide Tube Relic, as used in the Me109 B-G, Fw190, Me110, and other aircraft!
Made of steel, this tube is in SUPERB relic condition! There is some VERY SLIGHT dirt and corrosion, but it is otherwise VERY SOLID, with no damage! 100% complete, it is EASILY one of the nicest ones I have seen! Would need a bit of clean-up. I have indicated it’s location in the last photos. Would make a PERFECT addition to any collection, display, or restoration project!
