Description
This switch was a small part of the large autopilot system as used on many early German bombers. This larger system also included the Rudder Machine, Kompass, and Kursmotor. It would allow the pilot to manually change the directional path.
Made of aluminum and steel by Askania, this instrument is in VERY GOOD used condition. 100% functional, however, it appears most of the original paint has flaked off while in storage. All the data information label is 100% complete clearly indicating Fl. 23300! VERY hard to find these intact, it features a production date of 1935. I have indicated its location on the Ju52 instrument panel in the last photo. A PERFECT item for any collection or display!
