Description
This instrument measured the turn angle of the aircraft. It was connected to the main air pressure system and was located on the main instrument panel on many German aircraft.
Made of aluminum and steel, this horizon dates around 1943, and would have been used right up until the end of the war. 95% of the original finish remains, and there are no dents or damage! The data information is also intact at the reverse. Sadly, someone has removed the dial and airplane silhouette (probably to restore another one). Apart from those two missing parts, it appears to be 100% complete! I have indicated what it would look like with the 2 missing parts fitted, as well as its location in the last photos. Good for parts or repair, it would make a FANTASTIC addition to any collection, restoration project, or panel re-build!
