Description
You are bidding on a VERY NICE example of an original pre-WW2 German typed letter dated May 11, 1938 and personally signed by Fritz Görnnert, personal adjutant to Generalfeldmarschall Hermann Göring! The letter is addressed to Parteigenosse Jensch and concerns maps that had been placed at his disposal by Göring for use at a work conference. It is typed on a single sheet and bears Görnnert’s original handwritten signature beneath the closing.
Friedrich “Fritz” Görnnert was a German engineer and official who became one of Hermann Göring’s closest staff officers. Beginning in January 1937, he served as Göring’s personal adjutant and remained in that position through the end of the Third Reich. He later held senior posts within the Reich Aviation Ministry, rising to Ministerialrat and subsequently Ministerialdirigent, while also advancing in the SA to the rank of Brigadeführer. This letter dates from the early period of his service as Göring’s adjutant and directly references the Generalfeldmarschall in connection with official materials supplied for a party work conference.
Made of period paper with typed German text, this original letter is in VERY GOOD condition! It shows expected age toning, light handling wear and two punched filing holes along the left edge, but remains complete and highly presentable. The upper left identifies the sender as “Oberführer Görnnert, Adjutant,” while the lower portion bears Görnnert’s original handwritten signature.
Full English translation:

An EXCELLENT original document from the office of Hermann Göring, directly connected to his personal adjutant and the administration surrounding the Reich Aviation Ministry! PERFECT for any Luftwaffe, Hermann Göring, Reichsluftfahrtministerium, political, autograph or pre-WW2 German collection or display.
