You are bidding on 100% original WW2 German Luftwaffe 24V Heizbekleidungsschalter (Heated Clothing Switch), Fl. 32403-1, as used on many German aircraft including the Me-110, Ju-88, He-111, Ju-87, He-219, Hs129, and others!
This electrical unit controlled the functions of Heated Clothing Equipment used by pilots and crewmembers. Electrically heated clothing stared production during the Battle of Britain, when pilots needed heating in their unheated cockpits. As a result, the regular Channel Jackets, Trousers, and Boots were manufactured with heating elements. Once suited, the pilot would connect all 3 pieces of clothing together and plug the main wire from the trousers into this unit. He could then turn the switch to heat the clothing equipment. Connected to the main electrics of the aircraft, this was used in the Ju-88, Me-110, Me-210, Me-410, Ju-87, He-111, and many others.
Made of aluminum and bakelite, this control box is in EXCELLENT used condition and 95% of the original finish remains! The Fl. label is 100% complete, clearly indicating Fl. 32403-1 and all the internals are all present, including the original plug. It is marked with the manufacture date of 17.6.1940 and has a nice BAL stamp on the rear. There is some slight scratching and dents due to the age. I have shown it’s location in the last photos. A VERY NICE addition to any collection, display, or restoration project!

——————- TERMS OF SALE —————–
Most of my items are vintage, and as such are AS-IS, so you must therefore expect a degree of wear due to age and/or usage. All sales are final, so please make sure your questions are answered to your satisfaction before you purchase.
——————- ABOUT ME —————–
Although my passion is the Me109, I do offer many other German Aircraft (Fw190, Me262, etc.), as well as USAF and Japanese items. Occasionally I do offer many non-vintage items such as prints and art relating to the time period. As a private collector myself, I am constantly on the lookout for historical memorabilia, authentic photographs, artwork or anything unique relating to military aircraft.
