Description
The Me109 control rod assembly transmitted movement through the wing to the Wölbungsklappe, or camber/flap mechanism. The aluminum fork formed the articulated end of the control rod and accepted the separately listed Gabelbolzen, allowing the linkage to pivot while securely transmitting control movement. Although clearly illustrated as part of the complete assembly, the fork itself does not appear to have been assigned a separate replacement part number in the manual.
Made of aluminum, these TWO ORIGINAL examples are in MINT NEW OLD STOCK condition and appear never to have been installed or used. Both retain their clean original aluminum construction with only minor storage marks from age. They are being sold together as one matching pair. I have two sets available and have shown their location in the last images. An exceptionally difficult-to-find set of ORIGINAL Me109 internal control-system components that would make a FANTASTIC addition to any Me109 wing restoration, control linkage assembly or advanced Luftwaffe aviation collection!
