Description
This gauge is a late war version, produced between 1944 and 1945. Located on the main instrument panel, it measured the current airspeed of the aircraft.
Made of black bakelite, this instrument is in VERY GOOD used condition! 95% of the original finish remains, however the are some scratches on the casing, as you can see in the photos. The previous collector had this glued this into a display panel, and as such, there are some remains of glue that would need to come off the side. Otherwise, no dents or damage to the bakelite! The Fl. label is partially legible, indicating Fl. 22241. This is the compensating type, that displayed a more accurate velocity at low speeds. I have indicated similar types in the last photos. Would make a FANTASTIC addition to any collection, display, or restoration project!
