You are bidding on an EXCELLENT example of a WW2 German Luftwaffe 0-1000 km/hr Fahrtmesser (Airspeed Indicator), Fl. 22241, as used ONLY in the late-war Me262, Me163, Do335, and He219!
This instrument is a late war version, produced between 1944 and 1945. Located on the main instrument panel, it measured the current airspeed of the aircraft.
Made of brown bakelite, this instrument is in VERY NICE used condition! 98% of the original finish remains, and there are no major scratches, dents, or damage to the bakelite! The Fl. label is 100% complete, clearly indicating Fl. 22241. I have indicated its location in the last photos. It would make a FANTASTIC addition to any collection, display, or restoration project!
