Description
Made of aluminum, this UN-FIRED Signal Flare is in EXCELLENT condition considering its age. Manufactured in May 1942, it retains approx 98% original paint and finish, with NO damage! Some slight wear and marks, but nothing that detracts. Pilots would store these in the large pockets in the standard issue flight pants (see photo). A VERY RARE example, it would make a FANTASTIC addition to any collection or display!
