You are bidding on a VERY NICE and 100% ORIGINAL WW2 German Luftwaffe Steel EM/NCO Belt Buckle!
Military belts and buckles date back hundreds of years, and were originally designed for attaching swords and daggers. Fist introduced in 1935, the Luftwaffe Belt and Buckle underwent minor modifications. In 1937, it received a new pattern eagle and then again in 1940 with a slight difference of construction.
Made of a stamped steel construction, this 1940 dated buckle is in NICE used condition! It has a full second pattern Luftwaffe Eagle, but no manufacture markings that I can see. Appears to have been painted post-war (paint could be removed if one wished). There are various marks and wear, due to the age. Would make a SUPERB addition to any collection or display!
