You are bidding on a SUPERB example of a WW2 German Luftwaffe Elt. Wendezeiger (Electric Turn and Bank Indicator), Fl. 22407, as used in various fighter and bomber aircraft! This specific indicator was removed rom a Fw190, but a US Veteran.
This instrument measured the turn angle and side-slip of the aircraft, and connected to the main electrics.
Made of aluminum and steel, this is a VERY NICE instrument, and dates around 1944. It is 100% complete, and is in USED condition. Data label is still 100% intact, clearly indicating the part number, Fl. 22407. Some marks and scratches due to the age, but nothing that detracts. This comes with the original adapter plate, that is clearly marked “L14”. This suggests that it was installed into a later Fw190 (normally would have had a Wendehorizont installed…but instead…mounted the Turn/Bank with an adapter plate). I indicated where it would have been installed in last photo. A SUPERB item, perfect for any collector, display, or restoration project!

——————- TERMS OF SALE —————–
Most of my items are vintage, and as such are AS-IS, so you must therefore expect a degree of wear due to age and/or usage. All sales are final, so please make sure your questions are answered to your satisfaction before you purchase.
——————- ABOUT ME —————–
Although my passion is the Me109, I do offer many other German Aircraft (Fw190, Me262, etc.), as well as USAF and Japanese items. Occasionally I do offer many non-vintage items such as prints and art relating to the time period. As a private collector myself, I am constantly on the lookout for historical memorabilia, authentic photographs, artwork or anything unique relating to military aircraft.
