You are bidding on ONE FANTASTIC UNUSED example of a 100% ORIGINAL Aircraft Component Typenschild (Data Plate), used specifically on the Me109, Me262, and Me110 fighter aircraft! This was found at the remains of the WNF DIANA Me109 Factory at the end of the war.
This plate was located on various airframe components and structures of the mid-late war Me109 fighter. It attached for easy identification.
Made of aluminum, this is a VERY RARE piece! Being in uninstalled condition, it remains BLANK, with no stamped information. It does feature some dirt build up, and corrosion, but it does have traces of it’s original paint and finish! Could use a better clean if one wished. It indicates:
