You are bidding on an AMAZING example of WW2 German Luftwaffe BOXED and SEALED Unissued Cigars! These were issued to all personnel during the war, and were also available at many Military Stores and Canteens.
Made of cardboard, this UNISSUED box of cigarettes are in SUPERB unopened condition! Some slight marks and wear from storage, but nothing that detracts.
I believe these were originally given to the Luftwaffe members during Christmas. Featuring a 2nd Pattern Eagle on the front, it indicates:
Ein kleiner dank Reichsmarschalls
an die Piloten der Kanalküste
(A small thank you from the Reich Marshal to the pilots of the Channel coast)
Would make a FANTASTIC addition to any collection or display!
