You are bidding on an EXCELLENT example of a WW2 German Luftwaffe BG25a (Bediengerat 25a), Ln. 28810, used in conjunction with the FuG25a Radio System. This system was used on many late-war Fighters and bombers such as the Me109, Fw190, Me262, Me-163, He162 and other German aircraft!
The BG25a connected directly to the SE25 radio Sending Unit. Both were part of the main FuG25a Radio System, which allowed for air-to-air communication, as well as air-to-ground. Working like a modern IFF (Identification Friend or Foe), it was equipped in most late-war German aircraft. Working on the same frequency as the main radios, it sent a signal allowing radar stations and other aircraft to differentiate between friendly and enemy aircraft/formations. It had limits unfortunately, and could only be used in close-vicinity.
Made of aluminum and bakelite, this late-style BG25a is in SUPERB used condition. There are some slight marks due to the age, however it still retains 95% of the original RLM66 paint, and all knobs function perfectly! Some very slight corrosion from storage, but that can easily be rectified if one wished. The Fl. label is 100% complete, clearly indicating BG25a, Ln28810. A PERFECT addition to any collection, panel re-build, or restoration project!

——————- TERMS OF SALE —————–
Most of my items are vintage, and as such are AS-IS, so you must therefore expect a degree of wear due to age and/or usage. All sales are final, so please make sure your questions are answered to your satisfaction before you purchase.
——————- ABOUT ME —————–
Although my passion is the Me109, I do offer many other German Aircraft (Fw190, Me262, etc.), as well as USAF and Japanese items. Occasionally I do offer many non-vintage items such as prints and art relating to the time period. As a private collector myself, I am constantly on the lookout for historical memorabilia, authentic photographs, artwork or anything unique relating to military aircraft.
