WW2 German Luftwaffe Autograph – FIELD MARSHALL VON KLUGE – WARTIME SIGNED!

Günther von Kluge was one of the senior German Army commanders of WW2. He commanded the 4th Army during the invasion of Poland in 1939 and the campaign in France in 1940, following which he was promoted to Generalfeldmarschall. He subsequently commanded the 4th Army during Operation Barbarossa and the Battle of Moscow before assuming command of Army Group Centre on the Eastern Front. In 1944 he was transferred to the Western Front, where he commanded German forces during the fighting following the Allied invasion of Normandy. Von Kluge was awarded the Knight’s Cross of the Iron Cross and later received both the Oak Leaves and Swords.

Made of period printed photopaper, this image is in EXCELLENT used condition! There is some very slight age-related yellowing, however there are NO tears, bends, creases, or other notable damage! The front features the original wartime photographic portrait of Günther von Kluge and retains his original handwritten wartime signature across the left side of the image. The photograph and autograph remain clear and fully legible. Everything is 100% ORIGINAL, wartime manufacture and wartime signed, making this a VERY NICE autographed example associated with one of the Wehrmacht’s best-known Field Marshals of WW2!
