Description
You are bidding on a 100% ORIGINAL WW2 German Luftwaffe 24V/3W UV Light Bulb, Fl. 32269-2, as used on various late-war fighters and bombers! Used in teh Me109 K, Fe190, Ju88, Ju188, Ju388, and others!
These lights when turned on at night, directed light towards the cockpit instruments. This caused a reaction within the Radium Dials and as a result, the dials and gauges glowed. It was used in most German aircraft.
Made by Osram, this is a VERY RARE UV Cockpit Light, and probably dates late in the war around 1944/45. The Fl. label is stamped into the housing but is a bit faded. This type was made specifically for the Fl. 32269-1 cockpit lamp (see last photo). Would make a PERFECT addition to complete you cockpit light set. SUPERB for any collection, display, or restoration project!
